'So called' in the Bible

I will denounce your so-called righteousness and your deeds, but they will not help you.

We are all like one who is unclean, all our so-called righteous acts are like a menstrual rag in your sight. We all wither like a leaf; our sins carry us away like the wind.

I hear many whispering words of intrigue against me. Those who would cause me terror are everywhere! They are saying, "Come on, let's publicly denounce him!" O Timothy, protect what has been entrusted to you. Avoid the profane chatter and absurdities of so-called "knowledge."

But to the rest of you in Thyatira, all who do not hold to this teaching (who have not learned the so-called "deep secrets of Satan"), to you I say: I do not put any additional burden on you.
